After featuring mineral makeup by tarte cosmetics and men’s eco-fashions by Loomstate, Edun and Rogues Gallery, members only sample sale website Gilt.com is having yet another sustainable sale (go Gilt!). They’re featuring eco-friendly handbags by the wonderful MATT & NAT.

Many MATT & NAT bags retail for upwards of $300, but Gilt’s prices hover between $30 and $140. For a handbag (or wallet) that is quality-made, eco friendly and vegan, that’s kind of amazing. (Also amazing: co-owner Inder Bedi’s inspiration for MATT & NAT. Read it at their website, here.) I’ve already made a purchase: this Banksy wallet, made with “vegan leather” and 100% recycled nylon lining, for $30.
It is a much-needed replacement for my current wallet…which is actually a hard credit card holder that doesn’t do its job nearly well enough. Yay, new wallet!
