I’m not 100% sure what “toggery” is, but it sounds old-worldly and amusing enough to use on a daily basis. All I can gather from my extremely limited searching is that “toggery” is, in fact, a real word that means something clothing-related.
Thanks Merriam-Webster!
However, designer Kate D’Arcy definitely knows Toggery, as its the name of her beautiful, affordable, and sustainable clothing line.

The “Christobal” Jacket – $48
100% Organic Supima Cotton Fleece
This line is close to my heart for many reasons, but the biggest one is the price. Everything in her organic line is easily within most budgets – case in point: the jacket above. So beautiful and original, but still less than $50 and it’s organic? Yes, please!

The “Eva” Dress – Sale: $38
100% Organic Supima Cotton
I’ve been patiently waiting, through this “green” revolution, for someone to pick up the idea that the STYLE of organic clothing is just as important to fashion lovers as the materials are. It gets disheartening seeing label after label release the same cookie-cutter products in sustainable materials. D’Arcy is definitely a designer for the next generation of “green” fashion.

The “Julianne” Jacket – Sale: $73
93% Organic Cotton 7% Spandex
Might I also add that the styling of these products is such a turn-on? All the bold colors and tailored fits… Such a bucket of swoon.
Important Note about Toggery: Almost all of her designs come in multiple colors, one more vibrant and beautiful than the next.

The “Camille” Top – $59
100% Organic Supima Cotton
Yes, that is a cowl-back top that you can wear a bra with. Yes, it’s beautiful, fire engine red. Yes, it’s that sexy.
Did I mention that each piece of D’Arcy’s collection was made in the USA? Well, it has. Are you head over heels, yet?
Toggery by Kate D’Arcy has a beautiful website, but their entire line is currently being sold on Lux Green Life.

I love the Eva dress, but I REALLY LOVE the red shoes that are paired with the Julianne jacket. I must have it!!!
