From AlexanderMcQueen.com:

On behalf of Lee McQueen’s family, Alexander McQueen today announces the tragic news that Lee McQueen, the founder and designer of the Alexander McQueen brand has been found dead at his home. At this stage it is inappropriate to comment on this tragic news beyond saying that we are devastated and are sharing a sense of shock and grief with Lee’s family.
Lee’s family has asked for privacy in order to come to terms with this terrible news and we hope the media will respect this.

The Alexander McQueen brand has always been cutting-edge, and has remained a truly remarkable inspiration to this fashion-conscious writer.
Rather than hunting down speculation as to the circumstances of Mr. McQueen’s death, I’ll leave you with the request that we honor his 40 years of life, and his lifetime achievements in the fashion industry, by focusing on his depth of work in the fashion world. I invite you to post some of your favorite McQueen lines, garments and memories – lets honor him the way he should be, by embracing his work, and posting it for others to see.

I was actually saving for one of these. Favorite designer ever.

I LOVE that clutch. I saw it online but wasn’t sure what line to attribute it to. Thank you for posting it!
There are so many images I love… *sigh*
I’m with you on this – honor a lifetime instead of digging into the details.
(ps – I’m sorry if any of these are huge. I found them on Tumblr!)

Awww, the images didn’t come through!! If you want, you can edit your comment and just post the links themselves – I think the comment feature removed them when you added the html, but I can add it after you post ‘em. I’d really like to see what some of your favorites are – I think you and I would have similar taste in McQueen stuff.
