I’m not sure why, but I’m definitely in “buy new stuff” mode, and keep having to review my personal wish lists to remind myself that not every great deal is worth giving up that new loveseat I want.

Eco: Made in the USA out of 100% supima cotton.  (It comes in a gazillion colors, too.)

Melissa Ashanti Booties: $120 $90
Eco: These ones are also made with MELFLEX recycled/recyclable plastic and rubber. (On an unrelated note, the hidden platform on these is especially well done.)

Splendid Cotton Voile Pullover Shirt: $85 $63
Eco: Made of 100% supima cotton in the US. It comes in cloud and white – cloud’s my favorite, but white is definitely classic.

Splendid Open Back Dress With Knot: $128 $96
Eco: Made with pima cotton, modal and (sadly) spandex, in the USA. But it’s Splendid, so I’ll let this one slide.

Melissa Ultragirl IV Flats: $69 $51
Eco: These ones are also made with MELFLEX recycled/recyclable plastic and rubber. Did I mention that Melissa Shoes are also hypoallergenic?

Wrath Arcane Wrap Jacket: $187 $74
Eco: 100% cotton, made in the US, and fucking sexy. Yeah, that’s right. I love it. (If it came in an XL, it would be my guy’s new jacket ASAP.) It comes in black, too.

Wrath Arcane Concept Blazer: $209 $125
Eco: Again, this one’s 100% cotton and made in the US. I love the collar on this one.

I also found another company with great designs that I can’t buy: T by Alexander Wang.  Though I’m seeing some good materials being used – like lots of tencel – I’m also seeing that all of the pieces are made in Vietnam.  A cursory Google search didn’t turn up any information on Alexander Wang’s manufacturing ethics, and unless I find something supporting social or ecological growth in these Vietnam facilities, I can’t pick up his designs in good conscience.  It’s too bad - Tobi’s deals on his tops and dresses are fantastic!
