Take me to the ballet.

James Perse Women’s Recycled Cotton Boxy Tee In Cherry Blossom: $105
Eco: made with 30% recycled cotton
If there’s one staple that is absolutely required in my summer wardrobe this year, it’s soft fabrics tinted the slightest, palest pink. Along with being utterly feminine, pink also adds just a hint of uniqueness – it’s like white’s sassy cousin, or cream’s younger, sweeter sister. You know, the one you want to have tea parties with because it makes you feel extra refined.

Elizabeth Street Pink Tourmaline Ring: $1,200
Eco: The yellow and rose gold ring is handmade in the US out of recycled materials.
Rich pinks are good too, if done right. Just like any shot of color, there’s a trashy way to do it, and a classy way.

Nixxi Keyhole Tie Top in Rose Pink: $90 $63
Eco: Made of 70% tencel, wool, bamboo and organic cotton.
This top is my high-waisted jeans/pants/skirt dream. I love the longish sleeves and tie neck.

The Urge to Adorn Vintage Rose: $80
Eco: Buckle is on a recycled belt made from agricultural tires.
Again, just a hint of brighter pink. I’d pair this belt with some of the more masculine trends coming around for summer, like cargo pants and cropped boyfriend jeans. It adds a little flirtation to an otherwise manly look.

Deux FM Vienna: $78 $42
Eco: Made from 66% bamboo and 24% organic cotton. (The rest is spandex.)
Does anyone else notice how ridiculously Photoshopped this picture is? The dress is pretty, but please, PR people, don’t ruin it for us.

Happy Monday, everyone. *yawn* New post: To Covet: Pretty in Pink http://ow.ly/1quZJo
