My partner and I tend to fight over how to style the bedroom. While he’s a fan of soft colors and clean lines, I gravitate toward patterns and strange images. He wants something calm to fall asleep to, and I want inspiration for my dreams.
One thing we don’t argue about is blankets: we love them. The more we own, the better, and the more varied they are, the better. (…Because it gives us more options to…fight about? Hmm.)
Until Tuesday, February 7 at 8am, one of our Top Five Eco-Friendly Sale Sites for 2012, Fab.com, is offering some absolutely beautiful quilts by Karma Living at 49% off.

Splendid Sari Quilts
Each quilt is made from reclaimed saris, which are stitched together into pretty patterns (my favorite) that combine into a soft, delicate look (…sort of his favorite? Okay, still my favorite).
The other-worldliness of these patterns and prints is so cool, but not “oh look at my India-themed-bedroom.” It’s unique but doesn’t assume, you know?
Each quilt is unique, of course, so the retail price is high: $350 each. On Fab, though, they’re only $179, which is just enough of a discount that I’m seriously considering buying one.
Speaking of which, a lot of my favorite sari quilts are already sold out! (Don’t worry: I didn’t feature those here. I’m not that cruel.) These beauties are going like gangbusters, though, so if you want one, there’s no time to hem and haw. If you need an invite to Fab.com, please click here!
