Remember that horrific earthquake in Haiti? It happened in January 2010, and the country is still struggling…but many have forgotten. Sevenly.org is one of those companies that hasn’t forgotten, and this week they’re offering a t-shirt that breeds new awareness to the cause and supports Haitian families in the process.

How beautiful is that long-sleeve dolman tee? The man tee is great, too, but it’s the dolman that caught my eye.
Here’s how Sevenly works: Seven dollars (get it? Seven?) from each item sold is donated to the cause of the week, and sharing said cause (on Facebook, Twitter…) brings more awareness to others that could support it, by purchasing on Sevenly or otherwise. (And there are other ways to support: I know someone who is in Haiti right now, volunteering. She is so awesome!)
This week Sevenly is donating to Heifer International, which uses its funding to send livestock to needy families, allowing them to learn to farm and create new, stable lives for themselves. Head to Sevenly to read stories about those that have already been helped by Heifer International, and to buy a t-shirt.
Simple: Buy a pretty tee, donate some cute chickens. Chirp.
